Join the Independence Business Alliance, the LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce for the Greater Philadelphia Region, and the LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County, for a business network meet-up! Light bites and refreshing beverages will be provided.

2:00–3:00 PM: Introduction to the LGBTEA Business Network, the IBA, and a presentation and facilitated discussion on LGBTBE Certification and Allied SME certification.

About the Independence Business Alliance: 

The IBA provides connections, opportunities, and resources to LGBTQ+ businesses, professionals, and allies in the Greater Philadelphia tri-state area. In collaboration with our members and partners, we expand economic opportunities, advocate for diverse spaces, and promote inclusive leadership.

The IBA serves the LGBTQ+ and business communities of:

  • Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania;
  • Mercer, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties in New Jersey;
  • and, New Castle County in Delaware.

The Independence Business Alliance is a membership-based business advocacy organization dedicated to making the Philadelphia region an influential and diverse LGBTQ+ business community with an impact on economic development, equal rights and policy issues. The IBA is an official affiliate of the National LGBTQ+ & Allied Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). 

About the LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County: 

The LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a more connected, visible, and equitable community for LGBTQIA+ people across Chester County. Through community events, advocacy, education, and strategic partnerships, the Alliance creates opportunities for belonging and meaningful engagement year-round.
The Alliance also hosts the LGBTQ+ Business Network, a monthly gathering that brings together LGBTQIA+ business owners, professionals, entrepreneurs, and allies to build relationships, share resources, and strengthen our local business community. Businesses can further demonstrate their commitment to inclusion through the Alliance's searchable LGBTQ+ Business Directory, connecting community members with affirming businesses, organizations, and services throughout the region.
