Non-Profit Organizations Philadelphia County
In February 2026, The Philly Pride Visitor Center (PPVC) opened to national fanfare as one of America’s first LGBTQ+ visitor centers, with a mission to ensure all visitors know they are welcomed and respected in the City Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection - and across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Located in the heart of the Gayborhood, the Pride Visitor Center connects visitors with local LGBTQ sites and experiences, platforms LGBTQ makers, and shares Philly’s revolutionary role in the fight for gay rights. The PPVC regularly hosts activities that draw a diverse group of attendees from the neighborhood and beyond. Our well curated merchandise drives traffic from visitors as well as locals to our retail area. The visitation numbers are growing monthly, and the center has welcomed close to 20,000 visitors in a short period of time.
