The Independence Business Alliance, Greater Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce that we are again working with PNC Bank to directly impact businesses that encourage LGBTQ+ entrepreneurship. Thanks to generous sponsorship by PNC Bank, this program provides a $5,000 award to TWO businesses that demonstrates a well-defined plan for growth, including innovation, sustainability, and ongoing contribution to the community.

The Philly Pride Visitor Center is located at S. 12th and Locust streets, and is open on select days as of February 25, 2026.

Philadelphia City Council Member At-Large Rue Landau invited the IBA and a handful of LGBTQ+ business owners to a roundtable discussion to hear the concerns, experiences, and struggles that LGBTQ+ business owners are facing at this current moment.

City launches the Philadelphia Free Business Tax Preparation program to provide small businesses earning less than $250,000 in revenue with free local, state and federal tax preparation assistance. That includes navigating several changes to the City’s tax structure.
